Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the TASHNEX platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TASHNEX Scrap Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the TASHNEX platform (tashnex.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, buyers, and sellers on the platform.
2. Platform Description
TASHNEX is a B2B online marketplace connecting industrial scrap sellers (suppliers) with buyers across India and internationally. We provide the technology platform and do not directly buy, sell, or take possession of any goods listed on the marketplace. All transactions are between buyers and sellers directly.
3. User Accounts
You must register an account to post listings or submit enquiries. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate business information including a valid GST number where applicable. TASHNEX reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Seller Obligations
Sellers must ensure all listings are accurate, lawful, and represent goods they have the right to sell. Prohibited items include hazardous waste without proper certification, stolen goods, and items banned under Indian export/import regulations. Sellers are responsible for accurate grading, weight, and condition descriptions. Misrepresentation may result in immediate account suspension.
5. Buyer Obligations
Buyers must conduct their own due diligence before entering into transactions. TASHNEX does not guarantee the quality, quantity, or availability of listed goods. Buyers are responsible for verifying supplier credentials, arranging inspections, and complying with applicable import regulations in their jurisdiction.
6. Prohibited Activities
Users may not: post false or misleading listings; engage in price manipulation or bid rigging; use the platform for money laundering or fraudulent transactions; scrape or harvest data without written permission; attempt to circumvent platform fees by conducting off-platform transactions with contacts made through TASHNEX; or harass other users.
7. Fees and Payments
Basic listing and enquiry features are free. Premium plans, featured listings, and credit-based services are subject to fees as published on our pricing page. All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST. Fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the TASHNEX platform — including logos, design, software, and compiled data — is owned by TASHNEX Scrap Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and protected under Indian copyright law. Users retain ownership of content they post but grant TASHNEX a non-exclusive license to display and promote that content on the platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
TASHNEX is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including failed transactions, inaccurate listings, or disputes between buyers and sellers. Our total liability to any user shall not exceed the fees paid by that user in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from use of the platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through our support team. Unresolved disputes shall be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with proceedings conducted in English in New Delhi, India. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
11. Modifications
TASHNEX reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
